As part of its plan to support growth initiatives and more closely service key customers in the western United States, Times Microwave Systems (TMS) has completed a major expansion of its Mesa, Arizona manufacturing facility. The new facility is 62k sq. ft. TMS is one of several Amphenol businesses planned to be within the same industrial park in this location. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held today by city, state and company leaders.
Bill Callahan, General Manager for Times Microwave Systems, said about the move, “We are excited to be expanding our manufacturing capabilities in Mesa and the greater Phoenix area. This creates a manufacturing center of excellence in the western US that complements our Connecticut and Florida facilities allowing us to more effectively service our customers coast to coast. This investment delivers increased capacity, additional capabilities and provides a risk mitigation measure to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing of our products.”
Times Microwave Systems has over 70 years of experience in designing innovative, high-reliability, coaxial cables and assemblies for demanding interconnection problems. An engineering-oriented organization, the company specializes in the design and manufacture of high performance flexible and semi-rigid coaxial cable, connectors, and cable assemblies for RF transmission from HF through microwave frequencies as well as lightning and surge protection products.
